The Rebel Gardener LLC proudly services the northeast and beyond with over 15 years of experience in horticulture, organic practices, landscape design, and environmental science.  We started our journey building our own suburban garden and homestead, while working in the environmental consulting and engineering field.  We began our homesteading journey with the goal of providing our family with healthy and high quality homegrown food. 

We are proud to carry on the tradition of landscaping, gardening and homesteading in New York State, which started with our grandfathers Orlando Iaboni and Israel Serrano. Both  built and maintained suburban nurseries and gardens right here in Long Island, starting in the 1950s and 1960s in Massapequa, NY and Brentwood, NY.  We proudly carry on their lessons and tradition in their memory, while embracing modern developments in horticulture, and land management. 

We specialize in indoor and outdoor organic, sustainable, and regenerative gardens and small scale family farms.  We embrace the good, bad, and ugly, from high-end food plot designs/installs, generic landscape designs/installs, chicken coop designs/installs, pest management, composting, weeding and even custom weekly maintenance plans.  It is our goal to help you leave behind expensive,  low quality, store-bought food and to enjoy produce from your own backyard.

We are also proud to sell products produced on our own suburban farms or sourced from trusted suppliers that we have used and continue to use on our own properties, and on our projects.  Consider us your go to team and ally for homestead goods and services.
